Every correction needs evidence and history
Product facts change and community records can be wrong. Scanly's correction process will preserve field-level provenance, supporting package evidence, moderation state and the reason a result changed.

Accepted correction types
- Wrong barcode, product, brand, size or market.
- Changed ingredient list, nutrition panel or formulation.
- Incorrect allergen, diet or product-category tag.
- Outdated regulatory citation or misapplied method rule.
Independence
Consumers and manufacturers may submit evidence. Neither can purchase a correction, hide a documented result or pay for recommendation placement.

The product database is not public yet. The correction workflow will open with scanning; methodology feedback can be sent through the contact route in the meantime.
